What the game keeps
Your scores, stars, charms, settings and saved game are stored only on your device. There are no accounts, and we do not collect your name, email or contacts.
Gameplay statistics
To learn which levels are too hard and where players stop, the game uses Google Analytics for Firebase. It records game events (for example a level started, won or lost, the score, moves left, and powerups used) together with a random app instance ID, device model, operating system, app version, language and approximate country. It does not record your name or contacts. On iPhone it uses the advertising identifier only if you allow tracking. Google processes this data for us; it is deleted automatically after at most 14 months. See Firebase privacy and security.
Ads
Ribbon Rush is free and shows ads through Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect your device's advertising identifier, IP address, approximate location and how you interact with ads. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
- In the EU, UK and Switzerland the game asks for your consent before personalized ads, using Google's consent form. You can change your choice anytime in Settings → Privacy choices.
- On iPhone, the game asks for Apple's permission to track. If you decline, you still get ads, but they are not personalized.
Purchases
Purchases are handled by the App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment details. To check that a purchase is valid, give you the item and restore it after a reinstall, the game uses RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives a random anonymous user ID created by the game, the store receipt (which items were bought, when and at what price), and basic device information such as the operating system, app version, country and IP address. It does not receive your name, email or payment details. RevenueCat processes this data for us and keeps it while it is needed for your purchases. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Sharing
When you share a score or album card, the image goes only where you choose to send it.
Your rights
If you live in the EU, UK or another region with similar laws, you can ask us what data is held about you, ask for it to be deleted, or object to its use. Because there are no accounts, we may not be able to link statistics to you, but write to us and we will help. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Ribbon Rush is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
